Are you a motivated, hard working and ambitious, but also team-oriented athlete ready to embrace the challenges of ski racing in Europe? Have you ever dreamed to live, train and race in the most beautiful parts of the Italian Alps? Are you ready for the challenge to immerse yourself in a different culture, learn a new language, make friends and race with people coming from all over the world? If so, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime for you!

Alta Badia Ski Racing is the result of the experience and the collaboration between the former Alta Badia Ski Academy and GB World in Aprica (Bormio), as well as from decades of training and racing across continents: Europe, North America, and Latin America.

We offer two different home-bases in the Italian Alps, in both areas of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics: the Dolomites and the Bormio region - in order to best respond to our athletes needs and skills and to privilege quality and individual attention. In the summer fall, we travel according to needs and snow between glaciers and snow domes.  We offer training in all Alpine Disciplines as well as in SX (Ski Cross).

Immersed in all that Italy have to offer, and part of both a local and international team. Athletes enjoy  an enriching experience both technically and personally, growing both as a racer, but also as a person.

The results of the athletes who trained with us this season include:

* A Gold and a Bronze medals in the GS and DH EC rankings and WC points which gained them personal starts in World Cup for next season

* 1 Gold and 1 Silver medals at World Juniors

* 2 Bronze medals in the Grand Prix Italy final rankings

* 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medals at NCs and NJCs

* 36 podiums at regular FIS races

* Most significantly, ALL athletes got PBs in ALL the disciplines they raced in (GS, SL, DH, SG and SX)!!

Our coaches and staff have extensive experience across all continents and are the best to advise you on how to best achieve your goals, be it the Olympics or NCAA D1 College.

We have two teams to make sure we best respond to athlete's needs and our training venues rotates to maximize quality and improvements.

We are also at the forefront of research and innovation in Alpine skiing. Several of our coaches and staff are at the lead of the ESKI project a EU-funded project devoted to the empowerment of women coaches and racers.

In the summer and fall, we typically train on Alpine glaciers as well indoor domes in Northern Europe. During the winter, we train in Alta Badia, Cortina, Fassa, Aprica, Livigno, Dobbiaco, etc.

Training on snow alternates with dry training. We are small by choice to ensure high-quality as we believe in the power of individual attention. Admission is therefore competitive. Though skiing is an individual sport, our values are teamwork, camaraderie, and caring for teammates. There are a few scholarship available for deserving athletes.

Thanks to our experienced international and national coaches, and to our strong academic background, we are able to help FIS athletes achieve their goals, be it going to the Olympics or to a D1 College. We offer three different option: summer, fall and winter.

We often train alongside World Cup and Europe Cup racers. Among our coaches' alumni: 2023 World Junior Champ’s Silver medalist Vicky Bernardi, World Cup racer Matteo Canins and Hannes Zingerle, Europa Cup racers Manuel Ploner and Ilaria Ghisalberti and  Olympic ski racers and World Champs Ricardo Brancal and Adrian Yung and many others

The Alps are the most competitive area globally for ski racing, so if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. Yet, prospective athletes need to be ready for the challenge. It is often tougher than one may initially expect. In the off season, we alternate intensive dry-training with skiing on glaciers and ski domes and cultural visit to enjoy the beauty of Italy.
